The new headquarter of the shipping company Hermann Buss is located in the old harbour area at the oppsite of the historical city center of Leer. This harbour area is beeing transformed into a new city quarter with a mixture of living and working facilities.
The hesdquarter is located at the most exposed site of the harbour district with a direct pedesrtian connection to the city center by a bridge across the old harbour basin.
Due to its location in the new civic quarter and the expanding philosophy of the company two expressive disigns have been developed.
